Early Childhood Development Program –
Specifically designed for boys and girls ages 3 to 6 years, this fun filled program introduces children to Dance, Music and Creative Exploration through the use of Academic Standards, Social Interaction and Motor Skill Development. This program introduces children to a healthy physical lifestyle, helps them to build relationships and make friends, encourages them to embrace learning through creative outlets and prepares them for learning in an academic environment.
Dancemakers Recreational Program –
In this program students may choose their classes from among the many different dance styles which are available. With no class requirements this program is the stress free alternative for the student who is primarily interested in socialization, exercise and fun! Whether your child wants to take Ballet, Jazz or Hip Hop, this program is the perfect way to begin to explore the dance world. We have now added an Adult and Teen Recreational Ballet/Jazz classes for girls and boys with no dance experience who want to learn!
Dancemakers Conservatory Program –
This program is for the students who desire to take their training to the highest possible level. Students who enter into the conservatory program do have required classes, however they may choose from the various classes that are available to best “customize” their emphasis to suit their particular artistic needs. These students are eligible to audition for Dancemakers Performing Arts Company, who is featured in our annual Christmas and Spring Concert events.
Karate Program - Led by Sensei Francisco 'Taco' Aguilar, our amazing Karate program teaches the traditional Katas, 'sport' Katas, tuite and various weaponry. Aguilar Sensei is a 7th Degree Black Belt who has studied under Grand Master Fusei Kise and Isao Kise Sensei with the Okinawa Shorin Ryu Matsumura Kenshin Kan Karate Do & Kobudo Federation for over 30 years. He has previously taught under Grand Master Kise at the Hombu Dojo and various military bases in Okinawa, Japan. He has also taught in Amarillo Texas, Sand Diego MCRD and Twenty Nine Palms California. Taco will teach traditional class formats, terminology, techiques including but not limited to hand, foot, stances, blocks, kicks and repetition exercises as well as the Shorin Ryu Kenshin Kan 25 Basics.
